WOMEN’S HEALTH

Many women go through their life with no complications in regard to their female health.  Others have a roller coaster of problems and usually go without the proper diagnosis for years.  Meanwhile, suffering, torturing their spouse or loved ones and never knowing why they feel the way they do.  You don’t have to be miserable.  I speak from experience.  I have dealt with severe P.M.S. throughout my teenage years and most of my adult years.  Recently, I began perimenopause and was diagnosed with Celiac Disease.  I think it took me a while to figure it out that the cause of a lot of my problems were due to a food sensitivity.  I always thought you had to be in your fifties to have any symptoms of hormone imbalance.  I was wrong and so are you!  You can begin symptoms as early as your late twenties and early thirties.  The good news is that these imbalances can be easily managed without artificial hormone replacement.  For most women, a specific diet, combined with exercise and supplements can make the hormonal transition a smooth ride.  If another person tells you “It’s all in your head” or “You just need some Prozac”, tell them “Obviously you have never experienced what I am going through”.  You are not crazy, although hormones can definitely make you feel like you are.  With some education and a little guidance, you can be on the road to normal hormone health and balance.
